People across all parts of South Africa are up in arms following the announcement made by the United States Embassy of a possible terrorist attack in South Africa, Sandton between the 29th and the 30th of October, 2022.
Mohale Motaung is only catching smoke because this coming weekend there is Johannesburg Gay Pride taking place around the Sandton area. Mohale’s mother‘s instinct has taken her over as she urges for Mohale to stay away from the possible place of danger this coming weekend.

Taking to social media, Mohale Motaung shares his mother’s response that she sent to the family Whatsapp group, where she was condemning Mohale Motaung to go near Sandton this coming weekend to attend the Johannesburg Gay Pride.

Tweeps have collectively joined hands to laugh off the concerned mother’s call to urge Mohale Mataung to stay indoors this coming weekend. Meanwhile some tweeps have applauded his mother for being a loving and protective mother. At the same token, some tweeps are in agreement with Mohale’s mother and her concerns to stay indoors.

The possible terrorist announcement mentions that a group of terrorists in planning to attack any large gatherings of people at unsuspected locations in the Sandton area. The only large gathering taking place in and around the Sandton area is the Johannesburg Gay Pride. Hence Mohale’s mother is more concerned because he will be attending the JHB Gay Pride.
“Te U.S government has received information that terrorists may be planning to conduct an attack targeting large gatherings of people at an unsuspected location n the greater Sandton area of Jahannesburg, South Africa, on 29 October 2022” reads the statement
