Minister of Arts & Culture, Nathi Mthethwa decided to set the bar higher by appointing the two stars with one of the highest accolades for an artist in the country…Ambassadors To The World under the DSAC Cultural Diplomacy Programme.

What started off as an invitation, by the Minister, to thank the two artists for their exceptional work, ended up with great honour to be representatives of the country abroad.
Over Instagram Live, the honourable Minister flexed his muscle to ensure that Mzansi culture will be promoted and celebrated all around the world.
Despite these high accolades, some citizens felt that the Minister was useless and only jumped on the bandwagon instead of uplifting the industry at all times.
