The new addition comes just in time when daddy just took on a major role with the SABC as a Business Manager for Tru FM and Umhlobo Wenene FM.
Announcing the news on LinkedIn, SABC said, “Mr Loyiso Bala joins the SABC as a Business Manager for the Eastern Cape Combo, responsible for overseeing Umhlobo Wenene FM and Tru FM. Bala is a seasoned director in the broadcasting and entertainment sectors. As channel director of TBN Africa, he was responsible for identifying and exploring new business opportunities for the channel, tracking new markets and emerging trends in order to facilitate the implementation of plans to respond to risks and challenges of the business.
“He holds an MBA from the Henley Business School, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management Practice also from Henley Business School, and a Digital Transformation Certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).”
“He is a Board Member of the South African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO), Goodwill Ambassadors for United Nations’ Aids Programme (UNAIDS) and Goalkeeper for Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.”
