Born and raised in Mpumalanga, Lerato Kyanyago’s husband is one of the wealthiest men in South Africa and has an estimated net worth of about R 1 billion. 

Thami Ndlala is a well-educated gentleman who holds an MBA. He runs several chains of businesses with interests in the transportation and healthcare industry.

The businessman has been in the middle of several fraud allegations. In 2020, the businessman was found in the possession of two identification cards with conflicting dates of birth. He was also linked to a Forex trading scheme that allegedly ripped off retirees of their pensions.

Although for the most part, Lerato and Thami have kept their relationship and marriage very private and away from the public eye, the two have been in each other’s lives for a long time. Their relationship has had its fair share of ups and downs and the two have been engaged, married, separated, engaged and remarried.

The couple tied the knot in March of 2020 but just 2 months after their traditional ceremony, Lerato took to her social media to announce their breakup, citing irreconcilable differences. 

However, the relationship plot twist of the year came when Thami got back on one knee and popped the question again and Lerato’s surprise birthday party (that he threw). LKG obviously said yes and the two have been happily in love, recently celebrating 2 years of marriage.

In 2021 to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Lerato Kganyago’s husband rented out the entire FNB stadium which seats 80 000 people for a romantic dinner and private concert performance by Zonke.

This year fans were eagerly waiting to see what Thami would do to celebrate his wife on international lovers day.

Lerato Kganyago’s husband did not disappoint but instead exceeded all expectations when he gifted the media personality a boutique five-star hotel. Yup, you read that right, she is now a hotel owner! In addition to the hotel, Thami added a brand new Mercedes-Benz AMG G-Class to Lerato’s garage by gifting her a new set of wheels worth an estimated R2.7million.

Although Lerato Kganyago’s husband spoils her rotten, the media personality has a heavy belt of accomplishments to her name and secures her own bag.

She began her modelling career and won the Miss Soweto Pageant in 2005. After working for Qatar Airways, she joined the entertainment industry and has been a TV host for Soweto TV, SABC1’s show, The Link, LIVE AMP and the SAMA’s pre-show. 

Lerato kicked off her acting career on The Phat Joe Show and has appeared in the shows like Muvhango, Play: Sex Tips for Girls, and The Wild before returning back to radio. The entrepreneur also owns and runs an event management company, is a brand ambassador for Coca Cola and DJ’s at events.
