Connie Chiume Reflects On Her Acting Journey

Actress Connie Chiume is proof that when it is your time, as despite being in the acting industry for years it is safe to say that she is only now reaching her peak.

The Black Panther actress has now added another international title, Black Is King to her already impressive acting resume. Connie is amongst several other Mzansi stars such as Warren Masemola, Nandi Madida and Nyaniso Dzedze who star in the Beyonce production.

Connie took to Twitter to reflect on the monumental moment in her career and shared a picture of herself dressed in her Black Is King character Simba’s mother Sarabi.

“A SALAWIAN (South African/Malawian) GIRL Pleading face🙏🏾 Modimo will shock you, he will take you from a small town in FREE STATE and bring you to Johannesburg for your purpose to be fulfilled,” shared the actress.

The Gomora actress also added some encouraging words for her fans as she let know that “the only way is up from this point, we keep elevating Mzansi,” she wrote.

One can only wonder what her not role will be.
