Multi-award winning musician, Cassper Nyovest, has claimed to feel under-appreciated as a producer in the South African music industry, after a fan questioned him on why he doesn’t shed light on his producing skills.

Earlier on Tuesday, 24 August 2020, the rapper shared that an upcoming track on Any Minute Now which features Youngsta CPT, includes a specially made beat to suit his verse. When a fan claimed to find it hard to wrap his around Cassper as a producer, the BongiNkosi maker stated, “I do speak about the fact that I produce, THEY don’t shine any light on it.”
He went on to note that he made the Gusheshe beat with a Synth from Ganja and produced Khuli Chana’s Basadi. He believed that the music industry did not give him the credit he deserves as a producer, and asked that fans read through his album credits to see his achievements.
