The drama between Bonang and Rea started last year, after Rea made some damning accusations against Bonang. The YouTuber shook everyone when he claimed that the media personality had introduced her ex-boyfriend AKA to cocaine.
He claimed to have gotten this information from radio and TV personality Siyabonga ‘Scoop Makhathini’ Ngwekazi.
In October 2021, Bonang was embroiled in a multimillion-rand fight over her sparkling wine House of BNG. The media personality announced that she had terminated her contract with her ex-management Celebrity Services Africa (CSA). She said that she terminated her contract with the company citing possible criminal conduct.
