The star recently revealed her ancestral name to mixed reactions from her fans.
Her name, Gogo Momakhwezi, which originates from Zulu left some fans confused as she is Tswana. Boity accepted her ancestral calling back in 2016. However, she is not a full-time practicing Sangoma as she’s mostly occupied by her career in the entertainment industry.
Gogo Nomakhwezi also hinted that she’ll be venturing into making snuff. The main reason Boity was inspired to get into the business is that there are no Black-owned companies manufacturing the Tobacco-based product.
I donโt have the time to do it (YET), but can we please have more black owned companies making and selling our own brand of snuif? Ntsu le taxi ke tsa makgowa.
