South Africans are still recovering from Babes Wodumo’s wild rants. The controversial music is no stranger to hogging the headlines for the wrong reasons
A couple of weeeks Babes went on a rant and threatened to give her mother in law a hiding. She accused her of abandoning her son when he was only three days old.
The mother of one said she hopes her son Sponge, does not inherit her character when he grows up. In a twist of events, Babes apologized for the strong language she used on the live video. She said that the live video was part of a publicity stunt to promote her latest Crown EP.
“Due to the late release of the Crown EP, I had to draw your attention to the point where I give you a taste of part 2 of Sponge Wodumo’s story. The one you’ll saw just before Uthando Lodumo was shown on Showmax.
I’m sorry to those who I might have offended. Due to the strong language I had no choice but to do it around that time to protect my younger fans,” said in a statement.
She also accused Makhadzi, of allegedly having an affair with her husband Mampintsha Maphumulo. In a video she was heard hurling insults at Makhadzi and accusing her of being a wh*re. Babes promised Makhadzi a beating for chasing after her man.
Makhadzi clapped back at her by airing her dirty linen on social media. Makhadzi accused Babes of fighting with Mampintsha after he was apparently lusting for her.
