Though she’s known as a curvaceous actress and also has killer dancer moves there are times when she’s made the headlines all for the wrong reasons.

Remember that time when she was said to be allegedly dating a married man? What about that time when a tweep questioned her sexuality? Like seriously. Asavela however has managed to make a name for herself in the industry and despite what anybody says she’s become the actress that many adore.

Let’s just say this came as a shock to many as no one saw it coming. Isibaya actress Asavela was exposed for bagging herself a married businessman. It seems she met the KZN construction mogul at his wedding after the couple invited the Isibaya cast to his wedding. 

Allegedly, Asavela’s house and the car she drives were actually the business mogul wife’s that he took away from her and gave to Asavela.

Being the victim of a crime is one traumatic experience that no one should ever go through, but unfortunately, it does happen to most of us. The actress revealed that she was held at gunpoint and beaten up and all this happened while she was with her family.

To make matters worse, the robbers broke into her home and they even referred to Asvela by her character’s name. However, although they couldn’t find the ring they were looking for as it belongs to the prop equipment used for the show.
