Speaking to TshisaLive, Mbali said that she was left devastated at Arthur’s passing as they could not visit him in the hospital due to COVID-19. She also spoke about the last time she saw him which was before he was admitted two weeks ago.
“I would speak to him daily on WhatsApp and he would give me such hope that he was doing well and was going to pull through. I don’t know what changed because suddenly I got a call that he was no more. It felt like my heart had broken,” she explained.
The actor played Mnyamane Buthelezi who was Thandaza’s father on the SABC 2 hit soapie Muvhango. He succumbed to a long illness at a Johannesburg hospital over the weekend.
He will be laid to rest today.
