After the success of his Baddest track, which features Yanga, Burna Boy and Khuli Chana, AKA has decided to work with female rappers on the remix.
The female MCs are Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena, Rouge, Gigi Lamayne and Fifi Cooper.
In a behind the scenes video, he said: “I don’t really do remixes for my songs, but I thought it would be really cool if we give a platform to upcoming MCs.. It might be females, but first and foremost they are MCs who have something to offer…”
In the video, Moozlie described AKA as “really really nice”. She added: “And instead of just having us just come and deliver our verses and walk out, he’s actually teaching us some things that we probably didn’t know.”
The song drops today.
