Gareth Whitaker, the co-executive producer of the documentary stressed the need to be authentic while making the film and was honoured to be part of the project while describing it as the greatest privilege of his life. He promised authenticity and rare insight into the Bok squad as they journeyed to the World Cup tournament.
“Africa is a source of many great stories and it is our duty to tell these stories,” said Gideon Khobane, SuperSport chief executive and co-executive producer for “Chasing the Sun”. “It was a gamble making the decision so long in advance to film the team, but we bought into their vision and believed in their ambition. Their victory was a far better story than any script writer could have dared imagine.”
“The project is complete. Mixed. Mastered. Everything. All that I need now is our release date,”
As much as fans were happy that Supa Mega would be the one hosting this Chasing The Sun series on Instagram, many were more interested in him actually announcing the release date for his album.

We look forward to seeing the documentary on Sunday and AKA’s weekly Instagram takeovers, maybe he will announce the release date on there.
