Many South Africans fell in love with Simphiwe Dana after listening to her debut album Zandisile. The singer, who is also very vocal about several issues in Mzansi, is among some of the best vocalists we have seen.
So, it’s no surprise that we’re excited about the fact that she’s working on new music. The Destiny magazine October cover star told the publication that it has been a process, as she had to be ready spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.
“I’ve been working almost every day since November last year and I even started on the musical production yet – I’m still busy writing.” She revealed that the project will feature some international producers.
“The album explores gender relations, heartbreak and the usual appeal for humanity to aspire higher vibrations that greed and selfishness,” the musician told the publication.
