Meet Somizi’s Alleged Fiancé

Somizi Mhlongo‘s love life continues to set tongues wagging online. The flamboyant TV host recently fueled speculation that he is engaged after he shared a short clip, showing off a diamond ring on his finger.

He left fans wondering who the lucky guy could be? Somizi has been keeping his romantic life under wraps since he and Mohale called it quits. At some point he was rumored to have found love in the arms of Lindile Mbadu. 

But, it seems Twitter detectives have uncovered his new mysterious bae. According to entertainment blogger Musa Khawula, Somizi’s new alleged fiancé is Pholoso Mohlala.

Pholoso is a well known actor who has flexed his acting muscles in numerous TV shows including Isidingo.

We have a match.

According to Khawula Mohlala is also allegedly Lasizwe Dambuza’s ex.

Is is well known that Somizi and Lasizwe do not get along. It turns out Lasizwe also briefly dated now Somizi’s fiancé Pholoso Mohlala.

It is unclear how Lasizwe and Somizi’s friendship is lately. The pair had a fallout a couple of years ago and speaking to Times LIVE, Lasizwe explained how he felt after he wasn’t invited to Somizi and Mohale’s wedding, “I was a little bit touched that I wasn’t invited because when I came into the game, I looked up to Somizi. He was like an industry father and a lot of industry people didn’t like our relationship and got into our relationship and interfered. They caused a rift between him and I,” he said.

The seemingly decided to let bygones be bygones and Lasizwe took to his Instagram account to express how hurt he was following their fallout.

“Having a fallout with you was one of the most emotional situations I had to go through. What broke my heart was that our fallout was based over people’s opinions about our relationship. To me you’ve always been someone I’ve always looked up to, someone I called an industry Father. We used to have our long chats over the phone which I dearly missed and after a few years of not talking I must say that hit me hard. But I’m glad we had our talk and ironed out our issues. I’m SO looking forward to building a much more stronger bond and great memories with you,” he wrote.

He went on to congratulate Somizi on his wedding. “Your wedding looks like a dream. I watched it and baby cried a bit because I can see you finally found love and being loved suits you . Somizi, you are loved and you are love.”

Somizi is currently going through a messy divorce with his estranged hubby Mohale Motaung. According to Sunday World, the ex-couple has apparently lawyered up against Legend Manqele, who produced their wedding special- SomHale.

Manqele allegedly failed to pay them R1,5 million for the wedding special but., when asked about this he apparently said Somizi must address this with SARS.
