Minnie Dlamini-Jones shared a touching tribute to her industry peer, and more importantly, long-time friend, Nandi Madida, as she celebrates her recent SAMA win and role in Black Is King. Minnie stated that she wished to honour her childhood friend for her achievements, as they have finally materialized after years of dreaming about it as kids.
Minnie stated, “You were always MY Beyoncé and to see you in #BlackisKing was such a full circle moment. From little girls who would sing, dance, act and do pageants, to woman who never stopped dreaming and inspiring.”
The touching post caused Nandi to reach for the tissue box, as she claimed to have gotten emotional when reading Minnie’s post. She stated, “These damn onions again! The power of manifestation and getting to work someone so kind and hardworking as Beyoncé was a dream. Always your big sister.”
