South African media personality, Maps Maponyane, has spoken out about the #BoityEngagedByMaps hashtag that has been circulating the Twitterverse throughout the day. The Buns Out owner claimed to be going about his day as normal, only to find out that Tweeps have randomly reported that he was engaged to long-time friend, Boity Thulo.

He stated, “Y’all are ridiculous. Imagine you’re minding your own business, and logging on to find out you’re engaged!?”.
Boity has yet to comment on the hashtag, however she did share a tweet which showed a series of shocked and laughing emojies. Maps and Boity have been linked to one another for some time now, however they have both neither confirmed or denied their relationship. One thing is for sure though, they are definitely NOT engaged!
