Limpopo-born singer and songwriter- Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, aka Makhadzi, has risen to become one of the best female musicians in the country and while we know that her hometown is proud of her, we know for sure that nobody is prouder of the Ghanama hitmaker than her parents, and in particular, her mother.
This article shares a few rare photos of Makhadzi’s mother, a few details about the star’s mother, the house she built for her, as well as a quick look at Makhadzi’s siblings who are also doing great in their fields.
Makhadzi’s mother
Born on June 30, 1996, Makhadzi is the oldest child in her family. She was born and raised in a small town in Limpopo called Ha-Mashamba.
Like most homesteads, Makhadzi’s parents had a fallout and they separated when the artist was still young. As a result, Makhadzi together with her two younger siblings were raised by her mother.
Even though we’ve always known that Makhadzi and her mother have a tight bond, the artist has always kept her professional image very separate from her private life and she rarely ever shares photos or details of her family online.
In 2021, however, the Mama hit maker formally introduced her mother to the world. During the launch of her Kokovha sneakers in November 2021, Makhadzi’s mother was present to offer her daughter the support she needed.
In some of the photos that the multi-award-winning artist shared, her mother was proudly standing next to her, obviously happy with her daughter’s accomplishments.
Did Makhadzi build her mother a house?
During the lockdown period, Makhadzi started the construction of a beautiful house for her mother in her home province.
She completed the house in 2021 along with a house for her father and another one for her grandmother before finally buying herself a grand home.
After moving into her house, Makhadzi shared a photo of herself in her new home as a form of self-appreciation. Along with the photo, Makhadzi explained that she had decided to build a house for each of her parents since they had separated and she didn’t want to choose sides.

Makhadzi siblings
Makhadzi is the eldest child in her family and has two younger siblings. Of her siblings, her sister has been identified as Murendani Moo Ralebona.
Makhadzi and her little sister bear a striking resemblance to each other and the two could even pass for twins.
While Makhadzi has carved her path into the music industry and is winning big, her little sister who is also artistically gifted is a make-up artist and is behind some of Makhadzi’s make up work.
Along with making herself and other people look even more beautiful through the power of make-up, Makhadzi’s sister also provides training for other upcoming artists through her training program called Moo’s Beauty Makeup Training.
It appears that Makhadzi’s mother are parents to hardworking and talented kids and they must be proud of their individual successes.
