It’s a big day for former Miss SA and Miss Universe first runner up Dr. Tamaryn Green and her soon-to-be husband Ze Nxumalo.

Tamaryn recently took to Instagram to share that their lobola negotiations are underway.
“The first step of an incredible journey. Lobola negotiations,” she wrote captioning their beautiful pictures in traditional attires.
The pair got engaged in April this year, they first went public with their relationship back in 2018 and they were also spotted together at the Style Awards in 2019.
Tamaryn posted pictures of their engagement on Instagram with a short but sweet caption that read: “Here’s to forever”
Celebrities and fans took to the comments section to help them celebrate and congratulate them.
Congratulating the couple, former Miss Universe and Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Tebow responded: “Yayyyyyyyy!!!!!!! Congratulations you guys!!!!! So happy for you !!!!!!!”
Aum4224 wrote: “That said, Dr. Green received flowers from Ning, making Dr. Green’s boyfriend propose married. Congratulations!”
Another former Miss SA who broke the internet this week following her engagement is Jacaranda FM presenter Laurie Liesl.
Trending SA presenter Dr. Musa Mthombeni proposed to her earlier this week and the pair have since been sharing their cute engagement snaps on their social media platforms. They have allegedly been dating for six months.
Sharing a picture on Instagram, Laurie wrote: “This was the moment that I reminded him that I LOVE my ring and this special proposal so much but I LOVE him evermore.”
The love birds also shared another picture that they say they had taken to send to Laurie’s mother and captioned it: “Taking a selfie to send to my mommy. Probably one of my favorite moments from yesterday,” she added. “THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE WELL WISHES FROM EACH AND EVERY PERSON. I will make some time to get through allll of them ASAP.”
Speaking about this special moment of her life on Jacaranda FM Laurie said they have been keeping their relationship private because they wanted to keep their bubbles to themselves.
She said when the engagement finally happened, she figured that it was the right time for people to know about them.
“We just wanted to keep our little bubble for ourselves for as long as possible and yesterday when he put a ring on it, I was like listen, I think its time, everyone can know now, it is just so well time as well,” she said.
