Over the last year or so, there’s been a lot of speculation on whether or not Maps and Boity are an item as they were spotted spending a lot of time together and looking cosy – it all started on Maps’ 30th birthday when Boity helped put together his 30th party and penned a heartfelt message to the model and businessman.
However, as rumours about our fave Boity being linked to actor Anton Jeftha become more and more true, Maps also penned a heartfelt Happy Birthday message to Boity that suggested that the two are just buddies.
“It’s my bestie’s birthday and her name Boitumelo couldn’t be more apt for all joy she brings into people’s lives,” he continued. “The world’s been blessed to have you on it for 31 years, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next 31 and beyond. Happy Birthday,” he shared.

We believe that Maps was making it clear to everyone that he and Boitumelo are just best friends – nothing more.
One person who didn’t say anything about being besties was the birthday girl’s rumoured lover Anton Jeftha. He shared a heartfelt message on social media that had relationship written all over it. “Happiest of birthdays Boity, you’re a gift and a light to so many, keep shining as bright as you do. Here’s a series of some fun times, and to many many more.”
The Own Your Throne reality television star commented on Anton’s post and thanked him for everything. ”Thank you so much, A! I appreciate this so much! Thank you for everything!”
To our surprise, Boitumelo spent her birthday in her hometown of Potchefstroom with her family and the kids from Ekhaya Labantwana Orphanage from her hometown.
