Is AKA and Neli Tembe expecting a baby?
The love birds shocked Mzansi this week when AKA revealed on his social media channels that he popped the question and she agreed to marry him.

He posted his fiancé’s left hand with an engagement ring on without a caption on the image. Tembe captioned the same image with “On this day I said YES to the love of my life and best friend. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to be your life partner, even though the highs and lows you have always stood by me and I thank you Kiernan Jarryd Forbes for loving me wholeheartedly and never giving up on US. Cheers to the beginning of forever. 4L boo.”
Now the rapper has posted a series of Instagram stories with his daughter, Kairo Forbes where he’s asking her if she wouldn’t mind him ordering a new baby. In one IG story, the daddy and daughter duo are having lunch together.
“Today on a daddy and daughter brunch…what do you have over there he asked Kairo…she replied “pizza”…
In another IG story, he asks Kairo, “you don’t want me to order a new baby from the baby shop, to which Kairo replied “No” and he continued “but that’s where I ordered you from, it takes a long long time to order a new baby” and he continued, “It’s time to order a new baby” and Kairo refused for her dad to order a new baby throughout the entire conversation.
It is unclear from the playful IG stories between Kairo and her dad, if he and Tembe are really having a baby or if he was just having fun with his daughter.
The rapper AKA and his bae Nelli Tembe have been receiving a lot of love from Mzanssi this week since announcing their engagement 4days ago. Tembe unlike many of AKA’s exes is a very private person and not a celebrity. The rapper also revealed that Tembe is the first non-celebrity he’s dated since 2008. The duo have been dating for just over a year before they got engaged this week
The rapper also shocked his fans when he revealed his relationship with Tembe months after his public break up with his baby-mama, Zinhle Jiyane who’s also an award-winning DJ and businesswoman. A year ago DJ Zinhle was trolled by social media for taking him back after he cheated on her with Bonang Matheba while she was pregnant.
