The Netflix series is surely marking it’s territory locally and internationally as one of the best spy-thrillers to come out of Africa. This according to the multitude of fans who watched the very first episode.
Queen is part of the spy agency Special Ops Group who battles international criminals. She is also tasked to avenge the death of her late mother, Safiya Sono, a struggle icon who was assassinated during the apartheid era.
The intriguing story-line left many enthused and the reviews speak volumes.
Lead actress, Pearl Thusi was reveling at the success of her show and could not hold back her excitement.
Praises were not only limited to Pearl, the cast of the series left many in awe over their seasoned acting. Stars like Chi Mhende gave viewers some ‘Viola Davis’ styled acting, Vuyo Dabula who also gave a fierce performance he is well known for.
