Congratulations are in order for sassy TV actress and presenter Omuhle Gela who is Uzalo‘s latest addition to join the highly acclaimed SABC 1’s soapie.

According to Phil Mphela, Gela will join the show when the new season starts and she is set to make her highly anticipated debut in May.

It is beautiful to see Omuhle winning. The actress announced that she would be launching her unisex skincare range called Ayanna Beauty in December.

“After 3 years of back and forth, Covid putting things on hold. Me putting things on hold and wanting to focus on my pregnancy, I’ve finally managed to complete my long-term dream/task. 

“Being a woman of color I’ve struggled with pigmentation and uneven skin tone and I’ve never wanted to lighten my skin but I’ve always wanted to maintain, get even skin tone and a natural glow WITHOUT makeup. My Pigmentation got worse during and after pregnancy.”

Uzalo recently left tongues wagging with its storyline surrounding Giuu Gumede who plays MaMlambo. Viewers though she had left the show but she recently announced that she is pregnant.

She penned a lengthy letter to unborn baby, expressing how honoured she is to be carrying her baby. “My baby, you are your grandmother’s answered prayer. She was so excited to meet you; even though you did not get to meet in the physical realm, I know she is currently holding you in the spiritual. My darling, every move and every kick of yours within me is a testament of both God and my mother’s continued love for me. You have changed me in ways that are inexplicable. We cannot wait to meet you.” Fans and colleagues have flooded her comment section with messages of congratulations.
