
The channel that Vinolia worked for, during her last days, Moja Love has also paid tribute to her. In a statement released by Aubrey Tau the CEO of the channel, he said they will donate a whopping R200 000 to her family, to help ease the pain of her passing.
Vinolia peacefully passed away in her sleep on Monday. Aubrey described her as someone who was always eager to learn, he said: “She might have had her own challenges before, but when she came to us, we saw somebody who was full of life and despite her enormous experience, she was still eager to learn,”
Aubrey said the R200 000 will be donated to ease the pain of having to deal with the stress of scrambling for resources to bury the talented entertainer. The R150,000 will go towards the Mashego’s family for the upkeep of her child and the R50,000 for her funeral.
Mashego will be laid to rest tomorrow.
