“Wishing my forever girls from S1 #rhodurban all the best as we await the 1st Episode of S2. You’ve always been the same people privately, publicly and personally. And I love you for that. All the best my darlings! To @letitrainfilms – praying that the divine energy always gives you the leadership of always touching the minds and hearts of people through your production… love you guys!”
Kgomotso is married to the former rugby player, Odwa Ndungane, recently confirmed that she would not be part of the second season of the hit show.
Kgomotso thanked everyone for the support, encouraging messages and love. “Know that I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart and if circumstances were different from S1, I would have given you another killer season,” she added.
Ayanda Ncwane would also not be returning to the show for season 2. This is apparently because the show is tainting her late husband Sfiso Ncwane’s legacy.
According to Sunday World, Ayanda Ncwane decided to leave the show because it was disrespecting her brand, her husband’s legacy and it tainting it badly.
“She feels like the show doesn’t respect her hubby’s legacy, which is something she has been trying to preserve,” a source told the publication. “She carries the show, they are going to have to find someone as strong and as interesting as her brand,” a source said.
She recently threw shade at the reality show and called it “small” – implying that she way bigger than that. “I recently saw a headline that only associated me with the Real Housewives of Durban, and I got annoyed because I have worked so hard building a brand of being a music executive. So for me to be associated with something so small whereas I have worked so hard did not sit well with me, and I decided that the show is not for me as I don’t want to be reduced to just being a housewife, while I have worked so hard for everything that I have,” she said.
