Veteran actor Peter Mashigo is in big trouble. According to Sunday World his wife has come forward and accused him of being an absent father. He has allegedly failed to pay papgeld for the past 11 years and the bill now amounts to R390 000.
The agreement was that the Gomora actor was supposed to pay R3 000 a month two maintain his two children aged 15 and 24-years old. However the payments stopped in 2009.
The actor is not the only ZAlebs involved in child maintenance drama. Singer, Tamara Dey has filed a petition at the Randburg Magistrates court to get Ningi Mhinga, Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s first born son, to increase his monthly child support payments from R10 000 to R20 000 which would be a total of R240,000 a year.
