Engaged in a conversation with another actress Florence Masebe, who expressed her disgust at the ill-treatment actors are subjected to especially after testing positive for the virus.
The actresses never mentioned any names however the inhumane acts have been condemned on social media.
“There’s also that production that my niece works on that’s already scheduled her to shoot even though she’s currently in quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19. I won’t even go into how they shared her results with the entire cast on a WhatsApp group without her consent,” Flo tweeted.
Commenting on her tweet, Thuso shocked many when she said she knows of an actor who was written off from the script because he tested positive.
“Then there’s an actor who tested positive and the production decided to write him out of the story so they can continue. Kubi. It’s not fair,” she revealed.
There have been many allegations thrown by actors, damning the industry for the longest time now. People were not surprised at these scenarios however encourage actors to speak out.
