Shona expresses his frustration at the disrespect black producers receive in the film and television industry in South Africa.
Shona Ferguson is not one to express frustration on Twitter and has always acknowledged the love him and his wife receive for all the work they do in bringing viewers top local entertainment on our screens.
However, in a series of tweets this evening, Shona expressed his dissapointment at the ill-treatment he has been receiving from what seems to be people that work for him. We’re assuming these are the various actors that work for Ferguson Films.
Shona went on to compare how white producers are never as ill-treated as black producers in the industry.
We might see all the success of Shona & Connie’s work but behind the scenes, it is not as easy as it may look like according to Shona’s tweets.
We’re only seeing the surface, we can only wonder what goes on behind the scenes when it comes to the entertainment industry.
And to sum it all up, Shona Ferguson just wants to work man, miss him with that other drama.
