His fans have taken to his Facebook page to criticize his writing skills. They have called his lyrics mediocre and asked him to hire a songwriter to help him.
Here’s what fans said:
Ranny George: “Bra I still say you should hire songwriters period.
You can do everything with your money but please, I really used to be mad about your music but now you are beating round the bushes bro….admit it.”
Yei Marasii Hamusipa: “Expensive videos on poor lyrical content songs, that’s how you roll my ni**a. The minute everybody applauds your work, then you as they say, you are probably doing something wrong.”
Mantoh Kebasentse: “Batswana are so content with mediocrity to a point where everything is nice to them. Vee must step his game up.”
These are just a few of the hurtful comments targeted at Vee. His latest post might be a response to some of the negativity.
In a clip he shared on Facebook Live, he said he makes quality music for his fans and he didn’t get to where he is through laziness – actually, he works hard.
“3 AM I’m still awake, working with my guys. We haven’t slept since Monday and haven’t seen our families since!! You guys better know know I don’t get my stuff for free or easy I work hard to be where I am! And I respect my fans I will do anything to give them quality. Friday we are shooting a video for this song!!” he revealed.
