Nkanyezi Dumps Maseko’s Family

Nkanyezi wants nothing to do with Maseko’s family at the moment, but some of Umndeni viewers are adamant that she will go back eventually.

In one of the previous episodes, Umndeni viewers saw two of Maseko’s wives, Mahlal’entabeni and Dabula kick Nkanyezi out of their marital home. “This man has no shame walking around physically and emotionally abusing women! Nkanyezi should open a case against this bug I’m sure his soul mate awaits for him in prison 🇿🇦 #Umndeni,” @BornNtate reacted to the scene on Twitter.

This week’s episode was packed with rituals following the family’s failed attempt to get Nkanyezi back. She showered them with a bucked of poop when they tried to convince her to come back, and the family is undergoing cleansing rituals to get rid of the “bad luck.”

According to the heard of the family Maseko, it is bad luck to have someone’s poop poured all over you. He has since advised his wives to get cleansed. 

“Maseko busy saying my wives my wives while he never married any of them. He only kokota at that Mahlantabeni’s house. Koki is also dishonest busy saying your wives when she knows the truth. These sangomas? #Umndeni,” @ofentsegabashan tweeted.

Dabula and Mahla’lentabeni found a way to get themselves cleansed. Fezile who got the most of the “bad luck” from Nkanyezi was uncomfortable with the cleansing ceremony. Tweeps have since reacted, they believe that Fezile was uncomfortable, especially with removing her head wrap because of her hair. Here are a few reactions:

Meanwhile, viewers are continuing to call Dabula out for violence. There have been several incidents where Dabula fought with his fellow cast members.

Blasting Dabula on Twitter,@Kudzibabe said Dabula has been doing this for a long time, “Dabula assaulting Nkanyezi last season was enough for me 2 be put off him n realize he was a bully n using his manly physical attributes to assault a woman. But angithi he is a people’s fav and you all hyped him, lam surprised you are all only realizing now that he is heartless #Umndeni.”

The whole episode was full of GBV, from Maseko threatening to slap Nkanyezi to Dabula manhandling Nkanyezi. But this is for the ratings. Sad.
