Former Ukhozi FM presenter, Ngizwe Mchunu recently got released on a one thousand rands bail after being arrested regarding domestic violence-related charges.
The charge was laid by his second wife, MaKhuzwayo.
According to Isolezwe, the SABC 1 Roots presenter was arrested on Friday and released on bail on Saturday, he then appeared at the Verulam court on Tuesday.
According to various sources that spoke to the publication, it was reported that the gruesome incident took place at MaKhuzwayo’s house in Phoenix, though the catalyst behind Ngizwe’s rage remains unknown, however it remains that Lindi (MaKhuzwayo) sustained severe injuries which resulted in her swift move to the police station.
It was reported that Ngizwe’s first wife, MaNxumalo was also present when the unfortunate incident took place.
This is not the first time that Ngizwe Mchunu has been engulfed in incidents relating to domestic violence. During the last quarter of the year 2018, reports were rife that his on and off third wife, Floda Grae had previously stated on her Instagram account that Ngizwe had physically assaulted her numerous times.
Upon contact with both Lindi and Ngizwe, they declined to comment on the sensitive matter as it is now being handled by the court.
