Instead of being congratulated Mohale has found himself being dragged and with many questioning his acting qualification and experience. Some say students who studied acting cannot get opportunities because they don’t “date famous people” or they are not well known.
One Twitter user said students must quit school and become influencers or date famous people in order to land acting roles, “If AFDA students are serious they must quit school and become influencers or date famous people with connections, like Mohale.” wrote @Oscar_T_Hamese
Another Twitter user weighed in and said life hard in SA because many students studies acting, but they do not get opportunities because the likes of Somizi and Mohale grab everything, “To think some of my friends are professional actors, who went to school and mastered the art of acting, who have for years been searching for jobs, only for mohale le somizi to hoist everything to themselves. Bophelo ke mas*pa South Africa.”

Mzansi started more about him when he was cast on Somizi’s reality show Living the Dream. Although many criticized his demeanor and said he is cold towards SomGaGa, Mohale landed an acting gig in the second season of MTV Shuga: Down.
Mohale plays the role of an openly-gay man and his role captivated many. Somizi and Mohale celebrated their first wedding anniversary yesterday and Somizi took to Instagram to pen a sweet message to celebrate the day they both said “I Do.”
“Happy one year wedding anniversary to us……please help me convince my husband that we go on live this evening to share what the first year of marriage feels like and us like…….I feel like theres a lot if things that we are not told about by newly weds that cud be helpful to anyone who is about to get married……but whatever it is that we have experienced got us to where we are today…….I love u MOTAUNG MHLONGO,” he wrote.
