Lunga Shabalala is one of South Africa’s most sought-after bachelors, we first met the star when he won a modeling competition and since then, he has managed to turn his fame into a thriving career.
Over the years, he has successfully transitioned from modeling to presenting and now acting, but it has not always been this easy for him. Speaking to Sowetan, the media personality looked back at when he first bagged his Selimathunzi presenting gig and the rumours that ensued thereafter, “Not everyone was happy about my progress though. Two bloggers wrote that I had slept my way into Selimathunzi. Easy come, easy go.”
He then went on to say that the bloggers accused him of being gay, “they also said I was gay but that didn’t bother me because I knew who I was and if I was gay, I would be open about it because there’s nothing wrong in being gay,” he explained.
