Kelly said the family has not followed the customs and paid for their damages, In the African culture when a man impregnates a girl before marriage, he has to pay for damages to the girl’s parents. Speaking about this Kelly said “The child isn’t a Meyiwa, she’s Khumalo. And I don’t see the necessity of sitting down and talking with the Meyiwa’s. We aren’t family and will never be.”
Since Senzo passed away, Kelly has been subjected to a lot of hate with many allegations leveled against her for allegedly being involved in the murder of Senzo. The onslaught of cyber-bullying against her continues to gain momentum and it shows no sign of abating, until those who assassinated him are found.
Kelly said the country has been spewing bile on her because of the Meyiwa’s, but she said she bears no malice against them, “How is it my fault? Is it my fault because Senzo loved me? I don’t think the thought of it being my fault that Senzo was shot comes from South Africa.“I think the people who played a role in driving South Africa to hate me is Senzo’s family. They subjected me to a lot of hate and drove South Africa to hate me as well
Kelly further accused them of delaying the arrest of the perpetrators involved in this case. “They’re the reason the killers haven’t been found,” Kelly asserted. They focused on hating me and finding me guilty instead of trying to find out who killed Senzo.” she said.
