Enhle Mbali Channels Trending Into Her Foundation

Black Coffee reopened a can of worms again recently, This is the internationally recognised producer-DJ found himself in hot water again when he rehashed the allegations of abuse which were levelled against him by ex-wife Mbalenhle “Enhle Mbali” Mlotshwa.

Black Coffee Reflects On Enhle’s Mbali’s Abuse Allegations

It (all) started with a cryptic post with Black Coffee asserting that he was not okay. He then followed this message with a thread dedicated to what he wishes men could find in 2023. Instead of cars, money and women, Black Coffee asked that men practise internal self-love and pursue healing their own emotional traumas.

The responses to the post were overwhelming, as men showcased just why Black Coffee is wishing for men to confront their emotions. A fact which highlights the often overlooked matter of men and how they are taught to be “strong and dependable.”

In response, Black Coffee then shared how the events of the past two years have not only shaped his perspective on life currently. But he shared how the abuse allegations by his ex-wife forced him to confront his own childhood traumas as he too had an abusive father.

Enhle Mbali channels trending into her foundation

Suffice to say that in light of Black Coffee’s stance, tweeps and activist groups lambasted the producer-DJ as they alleged that he was playing victim. More so considering that Black Coffee has been reported to have been unfaithful during his marriage. Moreover, seemingly had unprotected sex with some of these women, as it is alleged that he fathered children outside of his marriage while married to Enhle Mbali.

In light of the backlash, including the backlash that his sister has received after attempting to defend her brother and suggesting that Enhle Mbali was the one who was the toxic one. Black Coffee did return to Twitter to assert that he was not looking for any sympathy. However, that he believed that Enhle had used the end of the marriage to make him the “face” of her activism movement.

Whether this is true or not, Enhle Mbali did subtly comment on the ongoing trend via her Instagram stories. On the one hand she asserted that she stands by her story. This is as she shared a story of words that abusers use in order to justify their abuse.

On the other hand, she used the fact that she was trending to showcase just how much other women have suffered a similar fate in this regard. This is as Enhle Mbali has a foundation, Enhle Cares Foundation, which she created to specifically focus on abused women and children.

In light of her trending, women who have suffered abuse at the hands of their partners DM’d her privately asking that she and her foundation help them get off their abuse and toxic relationships. As such, Enhle also reached out to her followers asking for them to assist in any way they can with the stories she shared via social media.
