“My Wife’s Not A Gold Digger” – Emtee

Couples that seem unconventional (well according to society’s standards) always get dragged for various reasons.

One such couple is rapper, Emtee and Fiancee Nicole Chinsamy. When they first came out, trolls dragged Chantal looks – implying that she looks a lot older than her actual age. But the couple quickly brushed this nasty episode off.

Years later, the couple faced another round of attack from trolls. This time around, they were quite aggressive in suggesting that, Emtee’s fiancée is using him for her own financial gains( A Goldigger, basically). This painful perception has clearly irked Emtee. On the latest episode of Slikour Onlife, the Roll Up hitmaker defended his partner by stating the following:

No matter how strong a couple may be, there comes a point where they’re bound to hit back at haters on these streets.

Not too long ago, another IT couple, Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung faced a similar situation to Emtee’s.

The streets of social media heavily doubted Mohale’s love and devotion to Somizi. Avid watchers of Somizi’s hit reality show, Living The Dream With Somizi, perceived Mohale’s actions towards Somizi as somewhat cold and suggested that he’s probably just in it for the lavish lifestyle that Somizi affords him.

These two have previously brushed off rumours that were arrowed at them, however some time last year, Somizi came to Mohale’s defense.

In an Instagram post, Somizi posted a picture of himself and Mohale and the caption was what many perceived as a subtle clap back to Mohale’s haters.  It read:
