Her compassionate ways, which are sometimes deemed as toxic have come at the cost of her own family. It is easy for one to get the impression that Gladys is more concerned with the well-being of everybody else but her own family.
In recent episodes, she’s welcomed troublesome child, Lindokuhle Londo into her house without the knowledge of his husband, Melusi. This was surprising as London almost cost his husband his job, intentionally so.
