Tweeps Compare Zinhle And Bonang's Make-Up Free Looks

Media personality Bonang Matheba‘s recent partnership with Nivea, left a lot of tweeps foaming at the mouth, and sparked a heated debate on Twitter over fake advertising by our local celebs.

Bonang endorsed Nivea’s Luminous630 skin care products, but instead of celebrating her endorsement, people dragged her. This is after she had a full-on face beat, instead of her bare and natural face.

Several Twitter users accused Bonang of applying face cream to her makeup-covered face, and deemed the campaign “false advertising.” She was defended by others who said she would review the products for four weeks and share her experiences.

A Twitter user wrote “Bonang Matheba is not a FACE for Nivea but a collaboration. There is no need for you guys to see her without make up. She is reviewing the latest Nivea Luminous 360 range that she is going to try for the next 4 weeks and see results after. This video is a promo. Ay maaan.”

The media mogul clapped back at trolls by posting a video of her on her first week journey with Nivea. She uploaded a video of her with her natural skin where she is seen applying the product and said she cannot wait to share her look in 4-weeks

Her fans praised her advertising strategy.
