DJ Zinhle Has Been Hacked

DJ Zinhle has had a flourishing start to her new year. While many were counting their coins in January 2023, the Umlilo hitmaker was travelling to Dubai, performing and spending a few days in the country as she celebrated her friend’s birthday. All the while missing her man.

However, it seems that upon her return, the producer-DJ who seemingly took some time off to spend at home and at the Era offices after her return, had to deal with the unpleasantries of being hacked.

DJ Zinhle has been hacked

Taking to her Instagram stories, DJ Zinhle shared the official statement which was penned by her manager, Thabs Connect. The post specifically asserted that the hack was in regards to DJ Zinhle’s booking WhatsApp number and not in terms of her social media pages. As such, the official statement read:

“Please note our booking number 079 596 5268 has been hacked therefore no booking made via this number will be seen as legit until further notice. It is in your best interest to refrain from making any payments unless you have made direct contact with me (Thabs Connect) via DM, Facetime and or WhatsApp video call. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are working on getting this sorted asap.”

The confirmation of being hacked comes as DJ Zinhle announces an expansion in terms of the offerings from her jewellery and accessory line, Era by DJ ZInhle. This is as the businesswoman confirmed the inclusion of a “luxe” range of Era by DJ Zinhle products. The post in question shared that:

In this month of love I want to celebrate your love for our logo hoops by introducing our new, shiny & stunning Luxe Edition… Think Luxury! The growth of Era by DJ Zinhle has been ten years and counting in the making. This is as the star celebrated Era by DJ ZInhle’s ten-year anniversary back in 2022. Which at the time was reported as:

DJ Zinhle is the epitome of an all-round businesswoman. In recent years she has diversified her portfolio so much that it is safe to believe that she is truly a multi-millionaire. A feat she managed to do through her consistency and finally finding her voice in business.

DJ Zinhle celebrates 10 years of Era
One Friday, 26 August 2022, DJ Zinhle invited some of the leading female personalities in South Africa to what she deemed The Era Women In Business Luncheon. MC’ed by Rorisang Thandekiso, the luncheon had the likes of Dineo Ranaka, Lerato Sengadi, Celeste Ntuli and of course Era’s creative director Moozlie. The luncheon was in celebration of DJ Zinhle’s first solely owned company Era by DJ Zinhle.
Founded in August 2012, the business was the first independent venture that the then leading female DJ had founded. Before that DJ Zinhle was in a partnership with the now non-existent DJ school, which fell into disrepute before it became the distant memory it has since become.
