Dineo Ranaka Does Not Plan On Getting Married Again

To all Dineo Ranaka suiters and future suiters, the radio DJ has revealed and made it clear that she has no desire to walk down the aisle, EVER! She made this revelation recently in a social media post, where she says her world does not consist of a husband.

The Kaya 959 radio host was secretly married before to Klaas Pesha but their marriage ended abruptly. In the marriage, they welcomed a baby girl who is her third child.

Dineo said she has no desire to ever get married ever again. Soon after posting that, a lady questioned her happiness and her decision so Dineo clarified what she meant by that.

In a 1-minute video, Dineo said, “If you’ve done the work on your happiness, please put emphasis on it because some of us leave to heal, the leaving was actually the healing. We’d be broken if we were still inside it. We’ve left it and now we’re feeling a bit better about it and I don’t think we’re all designed to want the same things,” she said.

“There are married people in life and unmarried people who can both be very happy or very miserable and that’s OK. I happen to be happy and that’s OK.

“We’re not recruiting each other, normalise being honest about your feelings. The world that I’m trying to build for myself has no desire to make room for a husband and that is OK.”

In an interview with Podcast And Chill, Dineo revealed the real reason for her divorce, saying the marriage was abusive.

“If that guy didn’t hit me in my marriage, then we would still be on good terms. I had my three-month-old baby in my arms the last time he hit me and I was like no, this is not how it’s going to go down. Not me who doesn’t submit to bull….

 

“He was like I always say that in interviews because I’m trying to prove to people and I was like no, I actually don’t say those things in interviews because I’m trying to prove to people that I’m a unique type of woman. Really, I don’t submit to bull, and hitting me is bull and I’m not going to submit and we got divorced. I’m not even lying about it.

 
Dineo then shared some words of wisdom with other abused women, 

“They try and threaten you to silence you. If anyone is in an abusive relationship don’t take those threats to heart. Speak about your pain, speak about your experience, talk about it, and make the abuser smaller and smaller and smaller in the capacity of how they think they are a big monster. Abusive people tend to threaten you and they have a tendency to want you to shut up about your story,” she warns.
