The same man who said he will be taking a much needed break from Hip Hop in the next 3 years, went back on his word and released a rap song. Cassper Nyovest has heated up the timeline with the release of his song, The Pressure produced by King.
In the song, he talks about the pressure he faces on a daily to being ditched by Nadia Nakai. “Since Nadia left I feel exposed and alone cause y’all ni**a ain’t riding for me, ni**a nobody fight for me, I’m so used to it now, Y’all wanna tell me that everybody was pretending, I mean y’all nig**s used to be proud…y’all ni**as used to proud..” raps Cassper.
He did say he still loves the game hence his return to it.
On the topic of Nadia Nakai, she told Slikour that she left Family Tree in good terms even though Cassper was left sad. “I am no longer with The Tree. I am working on my own record label. I need to be able to stand on my own. Funny enough, I was actually scared to tell Cass. Even after I told him, I could feel that he was a bit sad, but we are good.
“He even suggested a few record label names for me to use… I will always hold Cass in the highest regard and respect because he’s been very instrumental in my career and my life. I want to be able to get to a point where even when I have kids, I can still work on an artist and actively build their brand. I am a little bit scared but also super excited.”
“After I did the Braai Show we didn’t speak for like eight months so I got so used to not talking to him much.”
