Condolences have been pouring since the untimely passing of Mmme Candy Moloi, who was popularly known for her role as Vho-Makhadzi on SABC 2’s Muvhango. Her daughter, who is also an actress and producer, Lerato Zah Moloi, has also acted alongside her mother on Muvhango and recently recovered from a coronavirus infection.

The veteran actress left the popular soapie, Muvhango, a few years ago after spending many years there playing the powerful Vho- Makhadzi in the Mukwevho chieftaincy and as the voice of authority to Chief Azwindini. Khabonina and Flo Masebe, who played Vho-Makhadzi’s daughter on the show, are among ZAlebs who have offered their condolences.
The veteran actress will be sorely missed by fans across the country, who have expressed shock at her passing.
