“Amo Chidi is not leaving Rhythm City” says eTV

In an effort to give new talent a chance, public broadcast channel eTV recently launched a search for a look alike for actress Amo Chidi who plays Reneilwe on prime time soapie, Rhythm City.

This sparked panic among the show’s fans that Chidi may be on her way out only to be replaced by the look alike but earlier today, eTV took to Twitter to alay fan’s fears. 

It turns out Rhythm City is just looking for an actress to play Reneilwe’s look alike on the soap for an upcoming story line, that’s all.
