“I Was Raped For Two Years By Jub Jub”- Amanda Du Pont

Skeem Saam‘s actress Amanda Du Pont, Mzansi had social media on a meltdown yesterday, after she took to Instagram to break her silence on Jub Jub‘s allegations of rape against her.

This follows after the controversial Uyajola 9/9 host, had an interview on Podcast And Chill with MacG and spoke about their so-called relationship.

Amanda claimed Jub Jub raped her and physically abused her for two years, in an emotional video that had many people reaching for tissues.

She denied claims that Jub Jub had “smashed her” and said she was afraid to leave him because he made her feel as if she couldn’t dump him. Amanda claimed at the time Jub Jub raped her, she was a virgin and had told him that she was saving herself for marriage.

“No, you didn’t smash me, you raped me, you forcibly opened my legs, forced me myself for two years and made me believe that there was no way out. . The most painful part of all of this was that I was a virgin and I told him at the time. I told Jub Jub at the time that I was a virgin and I planned to be a virgin until the time I got married,” said a tearful Amanda.

Jub Jub said on Mac G’ podcast that Amanda left because of jealously issues after she saw a picture of him and Kelly Khumalo. He made explosive allegations that Kelly used ‘muti’ to trap him, but Amanda has refuted those claims. Instead, she accuses Jub Jub of trying to kill her after she wanted out. She said Jub Jub would lock her in the house and monitor all the movements.

“So it is not true. I didn’t leave because I saw a picture. I left because he tried to kill me and I have always been afraid to leave because of the treats that were made but at that moment where he tried to kill me I knew the very thing I was afraid of, which was dying… I knew was meant to happen that day and I actually got away,” she continued.

“When I got away I went to the police station to try and open a case of abuse and rape and attempted murder. The police officer said to me to go home and think about my decision because he is so sick and tired of women coming to him with their boyfriends and husbands only having to take them back,” she added.

Amanda claimed that she had had an abortion with his child because she refused to have a child that was forced upon her. “I had an abortion of course because there was absolutely no way I would have a child that was forcefully given to me,” she added.

She also claimed the rape incident sometimes happened when people were around so she wouldn’t scream. ” He would wait for there to be people to rape because it got boring just to rape me plain and at home. I remember the one time I had my siblings visiting from school and he would do it while they’re around in the same room so I wouldn’t scream. I want people to know the kind of person that I dealt with,” she said.

Amanda said she won’t let Jub Jub tarnish her hard-earned name. She called out Channel O and Multichoice for supporting the podcast.

“I don’t understand why you should be interviewed and talk about me. You’re at a very low time in your career, so you really have to apologize for the kids you killed because you’re high,“ She said.

She said she hadn’t told a lot of people about this, but she told her husband. She concluded her statement by saying that she wants to lawyer up against Jub Jub “Any Attorney that can help me with a cease and desist letter or assist with coping with this guy legally, please help out. So that he can remove my name out of his mouth. Not due to the fact I can’t afford it however because I want to make this a public combat.” she said.
