Roast Of AKA Sold Out

Tickets for the Comedy Central Roast of AKA are sold out and organisers have announced three new roasters- soccer legend Mark Fish, comedian and TV personality Nina Hastie and rock star Francois van Coke, with Pearl Thusi who was initially announced as the roast master.

AKA shared a video on his Instagram advertising the show captioned “We have officially sold all our tickets, even the extra birthday ones we added. See you there, Grudgement day,”.

Nina Hastie is not new to comedy and roast gigs. The only interesting panelist is Mark Fish, who comes in as a novice to comedy. The only moment the former footballer made the world laugh was with the #MarkFishChallenge.

“I am excited to be on the panel. This may be the only time I can roast him (AKA) since he is king of roasting people on Twitter. Can’t wait to meet all the panelists and make people laugh out loud. I think I am a funny guy but this shall be revealed on the day,” said Fish in a statement.

Filming for the show will take place on 21 February at The Teatro, Montecasino in Johannesburg.
