South African musician, AKA, has been known to boast his accolades on social media, however this time, he has taken his confidence to another level. In a Tweet shared today, 20 August 2020, Mega stated, “I AM THE GREATEST SA HIP HOP ARTIST OF ALL TIME. DEAD OR ALIVE.” His controversial comment caused Tweeps to accuse him of discounting the successes of other musicians, especially those who have passed on.

Fans also slammed him for not organically rapping on his tracks, and made mention of the fact that he uses auto tune on many of his songs. One follower responded with, “Do you know how to find the key of a song?”.
Tweeps have also accused AKA of diverting the attention away from Cassper Nyovest’s single, BongiNkosi, which drops on Friday, 21 August 2020.
