Legendary actress, Connie Chiume is mourning the passing of her mother, known as MaNdlovu.
Since January 2020, MaNdlovu’s health seriously deteriorated. After many visits to the hospital, the family were finally informed of her lung cancer diagnosis, which had spread across her body.
The Blank Panther actress, shared the sad news on her Instagram page. Speaking to Daily Sun, the legendary actress, added that, she shared a beautiful relationship with MaNdlovu and they spoke about everything. Also the news of her passing didn’t quite shock them as a family, hence the worst was expected.
‘‘Today was her birthday and she would have turned 98 years old. Apart from old age, she was sick and in hospital.” said Connie.
She continued to add: ”I took her on holiday but I noticed that she had no appetite. It got worse while we were away from home.”
