South African hip hop superstar, Cassper Nyovest, is known for his controversial opinions and his don’t care attitude on social media. His role on Twitter has created entertainment for his fans, as he has engaged in a number of feuds with his arch-nemesis AKA and many others. In his post on Wednesday, 10 June 2020, it appeared that Cassper was over the social media platform, claiming that it was filled with too much negativity.
He stated, “I love people, I enjoy talking to people on a daily and that’s why i used to spend so much time on twitter talking to fans. I wanna share so much with y’all but dammit this APP is full of negative shit!!! Ever since i stepped away from twitter, my anxiety is at an all-time low!!!”. He went on to reveal that he had written out eight tweets that evening, but decided to delete all of them due to the unpredictable reaction of his followers.
Fans of the rapper shared their concerns for him, with many asking for him to return when he is ready and to guard whatever peace he currently has.
