Ntsiki Mazwai is in the headlines again after her response to Kobe Bryant mourners was deemed to be "insensitive".

The world is still shocked and saddened by the untimely death of professional baller Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter. People have flooded social media to share their heartfelt condolences to his family. This includes various personalities from Mzansi including celebrities and politicians. But one person who is not on this same wavelength is Nontsikelelo Mazwai.

Here's how it all started: Mazwai was still adding to the weave rant that she started last week, urging African women to not imitate white women's hair. Standing by her word she continued talking about the weave trend when a tweep told her "We're mourning wena, today is definitely not the day kawume tuu!!!"

The artist then asked "Who are you mourning?" and that did not sit well with people who then told her to stop being ignorant.

Ntsiki did share a few words on Kobe and Gianna Bryant's death and the bond they shared.

Her insensitive comment on the country mourning the Lakers' death was the final straw for some of her followers as they vowed this year is the year they unfollow and ignore her. She has been trending ever since.

Here are some of the many reactions;
