Black Coffee Speaks Out On Divorce

Black Coffee has no time for trolls and people who want to make fun of his ongoing divorce. He simply blocks the hater and keeps it moving.

The Lalala hit-maker has opened up during an interview on YFM, where he says he is constantly trolled by people on social media. Ever since the announcement was made by Enhle that they will be going their separate ways, the DJ has been attacked and abused by people online, disregarding their pleas to handle this matter privately.

“I don’t feel I owe anyone anything. I am not the first person to be in this situation. No-one is dead. No-one is abused. Nothing terrible happened. We just decided this is where we want to be. But the public feel they should have a say, to a point where it is sometimes disrespectful,” he said on air.

Separating one’s private life from their personal life is a struggle and many public figures can relate to that. The international DJ has had his fair share of public disrespect and scrutiny, but says that since the news of the divorce, the disrespect escalated. From his observation, it is usually people who feel entitled to know and comment on his private lives.

“With everything that has been going on in my personal life, and even though we have all made statements saying this is a private matter, people will still come because they feel entitled,” he explained.

The extent people go to tweet harsh and hurtful comments is so disturbing that Black Coffee explained that if he had to tweet such, he would be immediately cancelled.

Both Coffee and Enhle’s statements placed emphasis on the fact that their kids come first.
